As an international consultant and public speaker, I have trained or provided keynote addresses to more than 150,000 professionals and students at all levels - from kindergarten through medical school. Consulting or speaking engagements have taken me from the STI clinic on the corner to the CDC in Atlanta, and from the magnolia lined Ole Miss campus in Oxford, Mississippi, to the stone and mortar edifices of Oxford University.
If you see me as part of the solution to your problem, if you wonder if I can help your organization, if you want an honest referral to another resourceful agency or individual whose skill sets or calendar are more suited to your requirements, please do not hesitate to write me at eric@ericgarrison.info.

Medical Schools From patients, researchers, doctors around the world, and my own experience as a clinical sexologist, I honed the complexities of taking patients' sexual histories. Participants in my sexual history seminar learn how to put patients at ease, how to phrase questions in non-threatening ways, and how to arrange and pair questions to get answers from the shyest patients.
I have also spoken on a variety of other sexually related topics to doctors and doctors-to-be. These include the role of sex toys in therapy and how to demedicalize sex by putting the human back into human sexuality.

Universities & NCAA Schools Whether working one-on-one with Division I coaches on how to reduce sexual assault or packing an auditorium with a gaggle of knowledge-thirsty students, athletes, and Greek Letter families, I enjoy traveling to the big ones and not-so-big ones to get people talking and to make every school safe environment that is conducive to learning. If you are an NCAA I, II, or III team, please take advantage of the NCAA $500 speaker's grant, for which I qualify.

EMS/EMT Crews Ten years ago, when the invitation arrived to address my first national EMS conference, I thought to myself, "I'm not EMS. I am a clinical sexologist. What could I possibly teach an EMT crew member?" That day, we all learned the answer: I could help those wonderful men and women more than either side of that microphone ever thought. Many EMS/EMT crews use my CARES model for sexual assault calls, and I have updated it for 2008. If I can help a crew or an entire conference, please do not hesitate to call on me. Similar to your line of work, I am here to help.

Audience Commentary It was one of the best sexual health workshops for physicians I ever attended. Funny, factual, well researched, well presented, and highly practical! He is the Sherlock Holmes of sexual histories. He can get anyone to talk about sex comfortably. I would love for him to come to Thailand and teach my students.
Dr. Manopchai "Peter" Thamkhantho Physician to the Thai Royal Family +++ Excellent workshop. Our highest praises!
Dr. Stephen Kennedy Senior Fellow in Reproductive Medicine Nuffield School of Medicine, Oxford University (UK) +++ Wonderful presentation. Fantastic job!
Robert Hatcher, MD, MPH Professor of Family Planning Emory University School of Medicine Author of Contraceptive Technology (after hearing the very first lecture on Viagra at Emory)

Audience Commentary When you hire Coach Garrison, you won't only get a man who has lectured at Oxford and consulted with some outstanding NCAA Division 1 schools, but you will also get a down-home, Southern gentleman who is respected by those who work with him... The college athletes who have heard Eric speak, studied under him, or visited him for advice and counsel, will remember him always. He made an impact on countless LSU players - men and women - from many teams.
Kermit Davis Head Coach - Men's Basketball Middle Tennessee State University (Former Men's Asst. Coach, Louisiana State University) +++ Other speakers came that [LesBiGayTrans Pride] week with a lot more hype and a lot less to say...Eric showed us how much he knows and how much he cares.
Ellen Weigant Sometime Director of the Rainbow Continuum Oregon State University

Audience Commentary Eric truly fills a niche that is vital to educating and enabling people to address difficult issues surrounding human sexuality - particularly from a professional, medical standpoint within a sociological context...Eric's one-time fee is a bargain for the rewards your audiences will reap and for the conversations that ensue after he makes his goodbyes.
George Koenig, DO, President National Collegiate Emergency Medical Services Foundation +++ Mr. Garrison entertained us with his wit and intellect. He is the answer to the question, "What would you get if you crossed Dick Cavett with Jerry Seinfeld?"
